  Also based on how many times they mentioned it when we checked in, they are very strict about the no-noise after 10pm policy. It's only dropping a star because beach nearby or not, a pool with sun loungers is always nice to have at a holiday park.

  Huge holiday park, genuinely more like a small holiday town in itself, with a fantastic location right beside the beach and a short walk to all the local shops, cinema etc.

  Hung up on my phone call after waiting 5 minutes on hold. This happened twice. I called at 11am so not an unreasonable hour. I only had a simple inquiry.

  You can pre pay and they will set up tents, they did this with three large tents for a hens party in the middle of the camp ground, 2am and kids are awake - thanks a lot

  First time camping with the family, couldn't have gone to a better spot. With the river on one side and the beach on the other side of the park you had a choice of where you wanted to swim.

  Huge plus: free wifi from the local government which is actually pretty fast. Slightly annoying: many of the amenity blocks in this park close for cleaning prior to the 10am check-out time, i.e. exactly when you are most likely to want to use them before leaving.

  We had a couple of other families with us, even though we paid upfront they wouldn’t allow us to book sites together so we were spread out.

  Whilst there is a noise curfew that doesn’t apply. They told us to ring the front office and leave a message if any problems as they monitor voice messages and the managers will come out, they didn’t turn that on so you just stay on hold forever until you give up.
